About Only Up
Only Up is a parkour adventure in a surreal 3D world. Guide a young climber up through floating objects and strange landscapes, with the clouds and ground far below. Reaching the top means judging each jump carefully: a landing that looks easy from a distance can be tricky from the edge. Watch the next platform, gauge the gap, and choose your moment. As you climb, new sections of the route come into view. A missed step can send you back down, so learn the route’s rhythm and decide when to take a risk.
Learn to Climb
Only Up has one clear goal: keep climbing without falling. The route winds through its surroundings, so pause to find a safe path. Pick a stable landing spot, line up your character, and jump when the gap looks manageable. Small adjustments can make a difference, especially near an edge or when the next foothold sits at an awkward angle.
You don’t need to rush. Moving carefully helps you stay on the route and judge what comes next. A fall can cost you height, but each attempt gives you a better sense of the spacing and timing. After a fall, you can continue from the last spot or choose Revive to return to your highest point. The climb still comes down to reaching the next safe landing, one jump at a time.
In multiplayer mode, other players move through the same world as you, but they won’t interfere with your climb. Check each landing before you jump, or move quickly through sections you know. You choose your route and timing, and every landing depends on your positioning.
Controls
- Mouse: Look around and check the route.
- Arrow keys or WASD: Move.
- Spacebar: Jump.
Climb and Jump
Only Up rewards patience and careful movement. Look ahead, line up each jump, and check the gap before you move. Narrow routes and precise landings call for small position adjustments. Consistent decisions will take you higher than rushing forward.
