In Sledge Rider, you race a sled down icy slopes and dodge obstacles for as long as you can. The goal is simple: beat the distance from your last run. As the pace picks up, you have less time to steer or jump, and a clear stretch of snow can turn hazardous in a moment. Watch the slope ahead rather than the sled; spotting an obstacle early gives you more room to react. If a run ends quickly, you can still tell whether you moved too late or jumped too soon. Your best distance gives you a target for the next attempt, but reaching it depends on the choices you make along the way.
Sledge Rider sends your sled down a dangerous ski slope with natural obstacles in your path. There’s no finish line. You stay in motion until you hit something, and the distance you cover is your result.
You have to read the slope as it comes. Steer around one obstacle, then look ahead for the next; a quick move that saves you from one hazard may put you in the way of another. Early in a run, the space right around your sled may be enough to focus on. As the distance grows, you need to look farther ahead while deciding where to steer.
The goal stays simple: keep the sled clear of obstacles for as long as you can.
In Sledge Rider, the sled moves forward on its own. Trees, rocks, snowballs, and deep gaps appear in your path, and there’s no way to slow down while you decide what to do. Use the Left and Right Arrow Keys to steer, or press the Spacebar to jump over a small obstacle.
You don’t need to move the moment you spot trouble. Steer too early and you might end up in the wrong place for the next hazard; wait too long and the run ends. Each stretch of track you survive adds to your score and gives you a distance to beat next time. After a crash, think about whether a different path or a quicker jump would have kept you going, then watch the track ahead as you try again.
