In Slidee, you choose a direction and the cube slides until it hits an obstacle. You cannot move it one square at a time or change course halfway across a level. A clear path might leave the cube in the wrong place for its next move; an awkward-looking obstacle might be exactly where you need it to stop. You have to activate the required blocks, avoid hazards, and reach the exit portal. I would scan the whole level before moving, find the blocks I need to hit, then work backward from the portal to figure out where the cube must stop.
Slidee asks you to think ahead. Each move changes where the cube can go next, and where it stops matters as much as the direction you choose. Before moving, trace a route across the level. What will stop the cube? From there, can it reach a target block or set up another slide? Moving past the area you need can make the rest of the puzzle harder. If a route fails, note where it went wrong and try the moves in a different order.
Choose a direction and the cube will slide until it hits an obstacle. Before you move, check where it will stop and whether you can get from there to a target block or the exit portal. If not, try another route.
Hit the target blocks to activate the level’s mechanisms. Before each slide, check where the cube will end up: it needs a way out after hitting the block. Obstacles may limit which direction you can approach from, and hitting the targets in the wrong order can leave the next one hard to reach.
Keep the cube away from spikes and other hazards. Once it starts sliding, you can’t change direction until it hits an obstacle, so check the entire path before moving. If a route crosses a hazard, find a stopping point that lets you get past it on a later move.
Activate every required target block before sliding the cube into the exit portal. Check what’s left and whether you can reach it from your current position. For the last few moves, work backward from where the cube needs to stop before entering the portal.
Plan the order of your moves instead of trying them at random. In Slidee, two moves that bring the cube closer to a target can leave it in very different positions. If a route fails, remember which move trapped the cube or sent it past the target, then change that part of the sequence. You only need a rough route in mind, not a prediction of every slide.
