In Slither.io, you steer a snake through an open arena, collecting glowing pellets to grow and climb the leaderboard. Other players’ snakes are moving around you. When you’re small, you can slip through gaps; as you get longer, you can block opponents, but you also have more of your own body to steer around. Watch where you’re going instead of following the nearest trail of pellets. A tempting cluster can lead your head straight into another snake’s path. Even when the arena looks quiet, each small turn matters.
Slither.io gets tense when other players close in. Their snakes can cross your path, reach food first, or turn an open route into a collision. A long snake can surround opponents, but even a small one can take it out by cutting across its path at the right moment. Watch where nearby heads are pointing before you turn. Growing quickly feels good, but you need to stay alive to make use of your size.
In Slither.io, you start as a small snake in an arena scattered with glowing pellets. Steer your head into them to grow. Early on, pellets in open space are safer to collect because you have room to turn when another snake approaches. A defeated snake leaves a concentrated trail of food, but nearby players will head for it too. Approach from a direction that gives you a way out. Charging into the middle might get you a few pellets before another snake boxes in your head. As you grow longer, watch where your body curves, not just where the next pellet is.
In Slither.io, your run ends when your head touches another snake’s body. The rule works both ways: an opponent crashes if its head hits yours. You can cut across a rival’s path or make it steer around you, but timing matters. Move too early and it can turn away; move too late and you might hit it first. Check for an open lane before cutting across. You don’t have to chase every nearby snake. Sometimes it’s safer to collect pellets and wait for an opening.
Collect glowing pellets as you move through the arena. Leave yourself room to turn.
To take out another snake, cross its path so its head hits your body. Check which way it’s moving before you cut across. After a crash, collect the fallen mass, but watch for snakes coming in from other directions.
Controls: Move the mouse cursor or use the arrow keys to steer. Hold the mouse button or Space to boost, if the control is supported.
Pick up nearby pellets before moving toward larger snakes. While you’re small, use the room you have to see where traffic is building. You can grab food near a larger snake if you leave yourself a clear way out.
Watch where an opponent’s head is going before crossing its route. The body is a visible obstacle; the next turn is harder to predict. Leave extra room when two snakes approach the same gap.
Once you’re long enough, your body can block an opponent’s path. Keep your head clear, though. Curling too tightly or drifting toward the arena boundary can trap you too.
A defeated snake leaves food behind, especially where pellets are clustered. Check who else is heading there before you move in. If the center is crowded, collect from the edge.
Save your boost for an escape, a cutoff, or a chance to reach fallen food before the crowd does. Know where you’re going first: at high speed, a closed lane leaves little time to turn.
Keep an open side when moving between snakes or along the boundary. A gap that looks wide enough on entry can close as another player moves.
