Tag Game is a multiplayer chase game where friends run across lively maps, tagging one another or trying to stay out of reach. Shortcuts and teleport portals give each pursuit a new twist. A quick route might help you escape, or send you straight into another player’s path. The rules are easy to learn, and moving players and limited-use portals keep every round changing. Read the map as you run, watch where others are heading, and save a useful route for when you need it.
Chase, Dodge, and Outsmart Opponents
Tag Game sends players around the map to chase others or dodge the tag. Touch another character and the tag passes to them; a white arrow appears above the new target. Everyone can see who’s being chased, and the chase can turn quickly when players change direction or cut across the route.
- Objective: In Tag Game, avoid being tagged or tag another player as quickly as you can. If you’re being chased, keep your distance from the nearest opponent. If you have the tag, take a clear route toward another player instead of following the same path for too long. A sudden turn can help, but a blocked passage may leave you trapped.
- Challenges: Shortcuts and teleport portals can change the course of a chase. Each portal disappears after one use, so check where it leads and who is nearby before stepping through. A shortcut may help you catch someone, but opponents watching the route can anticipate your movement. Save the portal if the timing isn’t right.
- Tasks: Keep moving and dodge when a chaser gets close. Use corners and alternate routes to break line of sight, then change direction before the other player catches up. If you have the tag, approach from an angle that limits the target’s escape routes. Keep track of the map as well as the player in front of you.
Controls
- Player 1: W, A, D. Player 2: Up, left, and right arrow keys. Both players move around the same map, so agree on who uses which keys before the round. Neither set includes a down key.
- Player 3: I, J, L. Player 4: T, F, H. These sets let two more players join the chase. Check that everyone can reach their keys without crowding each other at the keyboard.
