Terraria
Terraria is a 2D sandbox adventure game where you explore a randomly generated world, gather resources, craft gear, and build. Each world has different terrain, so you may need to change your plans when you start a new one. You can travel through forests and deserts, dig underground, hunt for treasure, and fight enemies. Spend an afternoon building a base or head out with basic tools to see what you find.
Explore and Progress
Terraria lets you explore at your own pace. Travel across the surface, descend into underground tunnels, and check the edges of each area for materials and loot. Some finds are useful right away; others become valuable when combined with resources you collect later. Keep a supply of materials as you go. Crafting turns them into stronger weapons, better armor, useful tools, and other items.
Better equipment opens up new regions and helps you tackle tougher challenges. Harsh environments and stronger monsters require preparation, and bosses put your gear and combat skills to the test. You may need to revisit familiar places, collect what you missed, and try a different approach. Each upgrade lets you take on more. Terraria has no single route, so exploration and crafting help you decide where to go next.

Controls
