They’re Coming: Shelter Defense
They Are Coming is a 2D zombie shooter where you defend an orphanage from repeated waves of undead. You have limited money to spend on weapons, barricades, and traps. Guns keep zombies at a distance; barricades and traps buy time when the horde gets close. The attacks grow tougher each day, so use the breaks between battles to prepare. Watch your defenses, reload at the right moment, and decide whether to spend your money on firepower or ways to slow the zombies. A setup that works early may not survive the later waves.
Defend the Orphanage
In They Are Coming, defend an orphanage from waves of zombies. Before each wave, spend your money on guns, barricades, and traps. When the attack starts, shoot the advancing zombies before they break through. Keep moving when necessary and watch how quickly your defenses are failing; enemies at the barriers can turn a manageable wave into a difficult fight.
Between waves, consider what the next attack may demand. Use your earnings to buy stronger weapons, reinforce weak points, or place equipment that damages approaching zombies. Each wave gives you a chance to adjust, while putting more pressure on the orphanage. Relying only on guns can leave the barricades exposed, while relying only on traps may leave you short of firepower.
Buy Weapons and Set Up Barricades
In They Are Coming, guns let you attack from a distance, barricades slow zombies, and traps damage enemies as they advance. Spend your earnings between waves to prepare for the next attack. A long-range weapon can thin out zombies before they reach the shelter; a barrier can buy time to reload or reposition. Traps help when enemies crowd a defended area, but you still need to aim and shoot.
Each day brings a tougher fight. Check which part of your defenses is failing and spend there. If you can already hold the line, invest in dealing more damage. Balance your money against the way you actually fight, since one useful purchase can leave another weakness exposed.
